  • Food-Based Strategies for Stunting: A Scoping Review of Functional Ready-to-Eat and Ready-to-Cook Foods. [Review]
J Hum Nutr Diet. 2026 Oct; 39(5):e70344.Khoo LY, Azlan AJH
  • Stunting, a chronic form of malnutrition characterised by impaired linear growth, remains a significant global public health concern. While supplementation programmes have shown potential to improve growth outcomes, long-term implementation may be constrained by poor adherence, high costs and limited sustainability. Increasing reliance on ready-to-eat (RTE) and ready-to-cook (RTC) foods in low- a…
  • Twist-Densified Collagen-Silver Nanowire Hydrogel Yarns for Conductive, Bioactive Sutures and Smart Textiles. [Journal Article]
    Adv Healthc Mater. 2026 Sep 24; :e71769. [Online ahead of print]Wu W, Huang G, … Zhang WAH
  • Tissue-interfaced bioelectronics require fibers that are conductive, strong, and bioactive, properties difficult to combine because conductive fillers that improve percolation tend to disrupt hydrogel networks and bioactivity. Twist densification was recently shown to convert collagen hydrogels into superhelical yarns with tendon-like mechanics. We extend this strategy to conductive composites by…
  • Subperiosteal circumferential connective tissue graft for vertical implant soft tissue augmentation. [Case Reports]
Clin Adv Periodontics. 2026 Sep 24. [Online ahead of print]Do JH, Kim ASCA
  • CONCLUSIONS: The SC CTG, featuring perforations created with a tissue punch to permit passage of the healing abutments, enabled graft stabilization solely by the abutments and facilitated circumferential enhancement of the peri-implant mucosal phenotype without the need for sutures when applied via the vestibular incision subperiosteal tunnel access. Within the limitations of this case report, this approach appears to be a simple, effective, and sutureless technique for vertical implant soft tissue augmentation.
  • Impact of PET/CT imaging on target volume delineation and radiotherapy planning in patients with locally advanced esophageal cancer. [Journal Article]
Strahlenther Onkol. 2026 Sep 24. [Online ahead of print]Ashykhmina V, Dezsö A, … Medenwald DSO
  • CONCLUSIONS: PET/CT-guided radiotherapy planning substantially influences target volume geometry in esophageal cancer and enables identification of metabolically active disease not adequately covered by CT-based planning alone. In addition to significant target volume reduction and lower pulmonary dose exposure, PET/CT-based contouring may support more consistent target volume delineation. Prospective studies are warranted to determine whether these geometric and dosimetric advantages translate into improved oncologic outcomes and reduced treatment-related toxicity.
