  • Drainage-constrained field-scale modelling of rewetting and regional CO2 ̶ CH4 emissions in lowland peatlands. [Journal Article]
Sci Total Environ. 2026 Aug 15; 1049:182180. [Online ahead of print]Andaryani S, Holman IP, … Kelly AST
  • Drained peatlands are major sources of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Reducing these is essential for achieving climate mitigation targets and agricultural net-zero goals. Water table depth (WTD) strongly influences emissions, yet national assessments often overlook the role of drain water levels within complex lowland drainage networks in controlling WTD. The objective of this study was to test…
  • TRENDS IN GENERAL SURGERY PROCEDURE TYPES AND THEIR OUTCOMES FOR A NEWLY COMMISSIONED HOSPITAL. [Journal Article]
Georgian Med News. 2026 Jun; (375):16-20.Alsuwaydani SGM
  • CONCLUSIONS: This study documents the primary surgical profile of a recently commissioned tertiary hospital, revealing a diverse, mainly elective cases with zero postoperative complications, readmissions, or reoperations. These results reproduce effective perioperative preparation from the beginning and found a respected starting point for ongoing excellence benchmarking and hospital development.
  • Spontaneous emergence of skyrmions beyond room temperature in boron-doped CrTe. [Journal Article]
    Commun Mater. 2026; 7(1):210.Jena J, Holst K, … Parkin SSPCM
  • Magnetic skyrmions are vortex-like spin textures that exhibit remarkable emergent phenomena and hold great promise for applications in spintronics, magnonic devices, and neuromorphic computing. Typically, these spin textures are formed in magnetic samples through the application of magnetic fields on a ground state helical phase. However, achieving the formation of zero-field skyrmions, without t…
  • Selective filtering of multi-photon events from a single-photon emitter. [Journal Article]
    Nat Commun. 2026 Aug 14; 17(1).Sbresny F, Calcagno C, … Müller KNC
  • Single-photon purity is one of the most important key metrics of many quantum states of light. For applications in photonic quantum technologies, e.g. quantum communication and linear optical quantum computing, a minimization of the multi-photon error rate is required because of its error-introducing nature. Ultimately, the purity of state-of-the-art single-photon sources was found to be limited …
