Common Use:
To assist in evaluating for intravascular hemolysis related to transfusion reactions, chronic liver disease, hemolytic anemias, and tissue inflammation or destruction.

Specimen:
Serum (1 mL) collected in a red- or tiger-top tube.

(Method: Immunoturbidimetric)
