Common Use:
To assist in confirming the diagnosis of myasthenia gravis (MG).
Specimen:
Serum (1 mL) collected in a red-top tube.
Normal Findings:
(Method: Radioimmunoassay) AChR binding antibody: Less than 0.4 nmol/L, AChR blocking antibody: Less than 15% blocking, and AChR modulating antibody: Less than 20% modulating.
