Screening for behavioral disorders in primary care.Manag Care Interface. 1999 Oct; 12(10):52-5.MC
Abstract
Behavioral disorders in the United States not only result in large economic costs to society but also place an enormous burden on the general medical sector. There is an especially high prevalence of these disorders in primary care. Primary care physicians can confront this problem by learning and mastering the necessary tools and skills to identify and manage patients with behavioral disorders.
