Education key to helping administrators accept ORYX.Hosp Peer Rev. 2000 Jul; 25(7):85-7.HP
Abstract
ORYX may not be popular with many hospitals, but it can make a difference in quality. Educating everyone in the hospital--from the CEO to medical staff to department heads--can result in changes that will benefit both patients and employees. When hospitals read the ORYX measurements and see how well they're doing, it's uplifting for everyone. When they see a problem, it's a chance to make a significant improvement.
