Abstract
Computers, image capturing devices, and the ability to transmit information quickly will open new vistas to the forensic dentist. Technology [table: see text] [figure: see text] continues to speed and simplify tedious tasks. Human identification in mass disasters as well as missing persons investigations will continue to benefit from advances in technology.
