[How to manage seborrheic dermatitis].

Abstract

Seborrhoeic dermatitis results from a peculiar inflammatory reaction directed to yeasts of the genus Malassezia which are present at the skin surface. The current therapeutic strategies to control episodes of the dermatitis target the yeasts, the host reaction or both.
