[A case of psoas abscess caused by Candida albicans].Hinyokika Kiyo. 2003 Mar; 49(3):141-3.HK
We report a rare case of psoas abscess caused by Candida albicans. A 59-year-old man with diabetes mellitis presented with right flank mass. Computed tomography (CT) showed a psoas abscess. Needle aspiration of the right flank mass revealed pus which was proved to be C. albicans by culture. The literature is briefly reviewed.
