Unilateral distalization of lower molars using the CD distalizer appliance: a case study.
Int J Orthod Milwaukee. 2004 Winter; 15(4):19-23.IJ

Abstract

The correction of malocclusions often requires space regaining. Clinicians have the choice of either extraction or non extraction treatment. In the non extraction approach, molar distalization is an option. Limited to headgear treatment for a long time, molar distalization can now be done with intra-oral devices. The CD distalizer is one of those options. This article will describe the application and techniques for the use of the CD distalizer in the lower arch.
