Xanthone O-glycosides and benzophenone O-glycosides from the roots of Polygala tricornis.

Abstract

A new benzophenone O-glycoside, tricornoside A, and five new xanthone O-glycosides, tricornosides B-F, were isolated from the roots of Polygala tricornis together with three known glycosides. The structures of new compounds were elucidated on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic evidence.
