Abstract

In today's healthcare climate, there is a shortage of nurses and nursing faculty. We need effective leaderships to navigate through this crisis. Although all nurses are leaders, we must develop the necessary skills to be effective. This article will briefly describe a few of the types of leaders, identify the essential qualities of an effective leader, and discuss the concept of teaching leadership.
