[Prognosis of the inflammatory complications after radical operations for cancer of the colon and rectum].Vopr Onkol. 1987; 33(4):66-9.VO
Abstract
The study was concerned with identification of a group at high risk for complications following surgery for colorectal cancer. A correlational analysis of a complicated postoperative clinical course versus patients' initial status and type of surgery was carried out. A regression equation was obtained for predicting immediate results of surgery as well as assessing the effect of the said factors on complication development in the course of correction treatment.
