Abstract

From 1980 to 1982, we studied 1,827 cases of vaginal smears with particular interest in positive cases of Trichomonas vaginalis and Candida sp. Moreover, we studied the statistical incidence of these microorganisms, and also some diagnostic problems, and the effects of these agents on vaginal microflora.
