  • CONCLUSIONS: Immunosuppression, ICU admission, antibiotics exposure including carbapenems, quinolones, glycopeptides, β‑lactams and β‑lactamase inhibitor combinations, surgery, mechanical ventilation, central venous catheterization, indwelling catheter and nasogastric catheter intubation are risk factors for CRKP infection. These conditions have to be considered in clinical practice.
