  • Expression of Toll-like receptors 2, 4 and 6 in different cell populations of the equine endometrium. [Journal Article]
Vet Immunol Immunopathol. 2017 Mar; 185:7-13.Schöniger S, Gräfe H, Schoon HA
  • Subfertility in mares is mainly caused by endometrial diseases. Alterations of Toll-like receptors (TLRs) are associated with endometrial disorders in women. This study investigated TLRs 2, 4 and 6 in the equine endometrium. Endometria of 21 mares were examined by histology, PCR and immunohistochemistry. Tissues from 2 mares were considered normal. The remaining showed endometritis, endometrosis …
  • [Research Progress of Immunity Mechanism in Hypertension]. [Journal Article]
Sheng Li Ke Xue Jin Zhan. 2016 Aug; 47(4):255-9.Liu LZ, He X, … Zang WJ
  • Hypertension, which can cause a variety of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular complications, is a serious threat to human health. Currently, it is found that hypertension is related to immunoregulatory abnormality, which could lead to chronic inflammation. Then the chronic inflammation may impair vascular endothelial function and activate renin-angiotensin system, which cause vascular remodeling,…
  • Prevalence of cervicitis in dairy cows and its effect on reproduction. [Journal Article]
    Theriogenology. 2016 Jan 15; 85(2):247-53.Hartmann D, Rohkohl J, … Hoedemaker M
  • The objective of this study was to determine whether cervicitis in dairy cows is an independent disease or occurs concomitantly with inflammation of the uterus, and to clarify possible effects of cervicitis on reproductive performance. Dairy cows (n = 416) from 33 dairy farms were examined by rectal palpation and vaginoscopy between 42 and 50 days postpartum. Inclusion criteria for this study wer…
  • Connections between renovascular hypertension and nephrectomy. [Journal Article]
    Rom J Morphol Embryol. 2011; 52(1 Suppl):399-402.Rahotă D, Roşca E, Muţiu G
  • Renovascular hypertension (RVH) is very often an under-diagnosed condition, being discovered incidentally, at a routine medical check-up or during a medical examination for another disease. A number of 217 biological samples (kidney and renal pelvis) resulting from the nephrectomies performed during the period 2008-2009 in the Urology Clinic of Oradea County Hospital have been taken into study. T…
  • An immunohistochemical study of feline myocardial fibrosis. [Journal Article]
    J Comp Pathol. 2011 Aug-Oct; 145(2-3):158-73.Aupperle H, Baldauf K, März I
  • The aim of the present study was to investigate the pathology of feline myocardial fibrosis. The hearts from 40 cats with myocardial fibrosis were compared with the hearts from 25 normal cats. Clinical data were available in 11 cases. Hearts with myocardial fibrosis were hypomotile and there were hyperechoic areas in the ventricular wall on echocardiography. The presence of myocardial fibrosis wa…

  • Torreya grandis cv. Merrillii is an endemic tree species in China, seeds of which are used as a popular snack, possessing beneficial effects on preventing angiosclerosis and coronary heart diseases. In this study, antioxidant activity and chemical constituents of T. grandis cv. Merrillii seed (TGMS) were investigated. The antioxidant activity of different fractions and the ethanol extract was eva…

  • [Nephro-angiosclerosis in the graft: impact on graft survival. Study of 33 cases]. [Journal Article]
Arch Mal Coeur Vaiss. 1995 Aug; 88(8):1153-7.Bernadet-Monrozies P, Rostaing L, … Suc JM
  • CONCLUSIONS: The age of donor is of importance in determining nephrosclerosis of the graft observed on early biopsies. Donor-related nephrosclerosis is a risk factor for the recipient of developing HTA without impairment of graft function in the mid term. In the context of early nephrosclerosis, the occurrence of acute rejection episode(s) is detrimental for the graft function.

From an ocular point of view, he shows senescence with senile ectropion, evolutive cataract, retinal angiosclerosis. The role of the manifestation of ocular senescence in Hutchinson-Gilford Syndrome is emphasized.
