  • Anatomic risk factor for meniscal lesion in association with ACL rupture. [Journal Article]
    J Orthop Surg Res 2019; 14(1):242Gaillard R, Magnussen R, … Servien E
  • CONCLUSIONS: A greater anteroposterior length of the medial/lateral femoral condyle relative to the medial/lateral tibial plateau is associated with an increased risk of meniscal lesions in association with acute ACL rupture. The lateral compartment in the male population appears to be the most at risk.
  • Undiagnosed synovial hemangioma of the knee: a case report. [Journal Article]
    J Med Case Rep 2019; 13(1):231Tohma Y, Mii Y, Tanaka Y
  • CONCLUSIONS: Synovial hemangioma is rare and difficult to diagnose in outpatient examinations because radiography has a limited diagnostic capacity. Magnetic resonance imaging and angiography are very useful. Nontreatment of intra-articular hemangiomas may lead to dysplasia of the bone and various clinical symptoms. Early complete excision may be instituted to reduce these risks of hemarthrosis.
