  • Implant Rehabilitation Partial Maxillary Edentulism with Onlay Autogenous Chin Bone Grafting and Prosthetic Gingival Restoration: A Case Report. [Journal Article]
    J Contemp Dent Pract 2019; 20(7):851-856Malpartida-Carrillo V, Tinedo-López PL, … Amaya-Pajares SP
  • CONCLUSIONS: The use of autogenous grafts obtained from the chin in combination with xenograft and then covered with an absorbable collagen membrane represents a predictable procedure for the rehabilitation of the long-term partial maxillary edentulism. Prosthetic gingival restoration is an alternative technique to overcome the limitations of hard- and soft-tissue grafting. The treatment of a patient with high and width alveolar bone loss needs a multidisciplinary approach. Autogenous grafts obtained from the chin in combination with xenograft and then covered with an absorbable collagen membrane represent an effective procedure. Also, prosthetic gingival restoration can be used as an alternative technique to overcome the limitations of hard- and soft-tissue grafting.
  • Current Treatment Options for Metastatic Hormone-Sensitive Prostate Cancer. [Review]
    Cancers (Basel) 2019; 11(9)Cattrini C, Castro E, … Olmos D
  • The possible treatments options for metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) have dramatically increased during the last years. The old backbone, which androgen-deprivation therapy (ADT) is the exclusive approach for hormone-naïve patients, has been disrupted. Despite the fact that several high-quality, randomized, controlled phase 3 trials have been conducted in this setting, no dire…
  • ULTRAPETALA1 maintains Arabidopsis root stem cell niche independently of ATX1. [Journal Article]
    New Phytol 2019Ornelas-Ayala D, Vega-León R, … de la Paz Sanchez M
  • •During plant development, morphogenetic processes rely on the activity of meristems. Meristem homeostasis depends of a complex regulatory network constituted by different factors and hormone signaling that regulate gene expression to coordinate the correct balance between cell proliferation and differentiation. •ULTRAPETALA1, a transcriptional regulatory protein described as an Arabidopsis TrxG …
