    Int J Pediatr Otorhinolaryngol 2019; 126:109593Ujam AB, Vig N, Nasser N
  • Secondary nasal deformity in bilateral cleft lip is one of the great surgical challenges. The problems are an under projected tip, an infra-tip lobule merging with the pro-labium and a short columella. Upper lip vermillion border deformity is a further significant problem. Here, we present a benign granular cell tumor over the mons pubis of vulva in a 27-year-old woman.

Here, using histological and immunohistological staining of human upper lip vermilion from donors of different ages, we investigated blood vessels in the upper lip dermis and age-dependent histological changes. We found that both total vessel area in the dermis and vessel number in the…
  • Characteristic patterns of segmental infantile hemangiomas in Indian children: A descriptive study. [Journal Article]
    Indian J Dermatol Venereol Leprol 2019Grover C, Kaul S, … Rathi V
  • CONCLUSIONS: Segmental infantile hemangiomas present as large, distinctively patterned lesions, even on the trunk and genitalia. These patterns are probably based on embryologic developmental patterns. In addition, indeterminate lesions also showed distinctive repetitive patterns. Our study suggests that additional segments may need to be defined, particularly on the trunk and genital area.
