    Front Pediatr. 2026; 14:1894326.Zhang L, Song P, … Yang ZJFP
  • CONCLUSIONS: For infants under three months of age with congenital choledochal cysts who present with surgical indications, robot-assisted radical resection appears safe and effective. This approach appears safe and feasible for carefully selected infants under three months of age. Favorable outcomes were observed, including successful completion of surgery without conversion, absence of major complications, and satisfactory cosmetic results. Further comparative studies are warranted to establish its role relative to laparoscopic surgery.

    Wiad Lek. 2026; 79(6):1430-1435.Nawracaj MJ, Miłkowska M, … Walęcik-Kot WWL
  • Obstructive jaundice is mostly caused by malignant lesions such as pancreatic head cancer and cholangiocarcinoma. Atypical benign conditions such as intramural duodenal hematoma (IDH), can imitate malignant processes in both clinical and radiological presentation. The diagnostic workup included computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), endoscopic retrograde cho…

  • CONCLUSIONS: Post-ERCP AKI is an important renal complication and was mainly associated with greater comorbidity burden, acute cholangitis, reduced baseline renal function, raised bilirubin, low serum albumin, and prior nephrotoxic drug or intravenous contrast exposure. Careful pre-procedural renal assessment and early post-procedural monitoring may help identify high-risk patients and reduce adverse clinical outcomes.
