- CONCLUSIONS: Long-standing continuity of care in general practice among adult patients is associated with reduced urgent hospital admissions and health care costs in the Netherlands. These findings highlight the potential value of sustained GP-patient relationships in improving hospital outcomes.

- CONCLUSIONS: Proximal intercessory prayer was safe, effective, and well-received as complementary treatment for pain and anxiety. Further studies are warranted. Proximal intercessory prayer may be a low-cost, non-pharmacologic, effective adjunct to standard care with particular relevance for underserved populations.
