- The effect of high-dose of vitamin C on mortality among aged patients with severe COVID-19: A systematic review and meta-analysis. [Systematic Review]Clin Invest Med. 2026 Jul; 49(2):31-42.CI
- CONCLUSIONS: Vitamin C supplementation might reduce the risk of COVID-19 mortality in critically ill patients; however, this effect varied by study. Additional research is necessary to arrive at a definitive conclusion on this subject.

- Macrophage Dicer1 deletion delays skin wound healing in mice by promoting pentose phosphate pathway activity. [Journal Article]Clin Invest Med. 2026 Jul; 49(2):21-30.CI
- CONCLUSIONS: These findings identify the Dicer1-PPP-efferocytosis axis as a critical regulator of macrophage function during wound repair. Our study provides novel insights into the molecular basis of impaired wound healing and suggests that targeting the macrophage Dicer1-PPP-efferocytosis axis may offer therapeutic potential for skin wounds.

- Efficacy and safety of dexamethasone and prednisone for therapy in childhood acute lymphoblastic leukemia: A systematic review and meta-analysis. [Systematic Review]Clin Invest Med. 2026 Jul; 49(2):43-55.CI
- CONCLUSIONS: In children with ALL, dexamethasone improves event-free survival compared to prednisone but may have a higher risk of adverse effects. This highlights the need for a careful benefit-risk assessment. Future research should explore hybrid glucocorticoid strategies to maximize survival outcomes while reducing adverse effects.

- A study of suicide risk and prognostic characteristics in patients with osteosarcoma. [Journal Article]Clin Invest Med. 2026 Mar; 49(1):16-27.CI
- CONCLUSIONS: In osteosarcoma patients with tumours in the extremities, trunk, head, and facial bones, age and histological type were independent risk factors for both suicide and survival outcomes. These findings highlight the need for clinicians to consider both clinical and psychological risk factors in patient management and underscore the importance of providing mental health counselling, particularly for those at high risk for suicide.

- The expression and mechanism of action of MicroRNA-210 in preeclampsia. [Journal Article]Clin Invest Med. 2026 Mar; 49(1):28-36.CI
- CONCLUSIONS: In patients with preeclampsia, miR-210 may be involved in the proliferation and apoptosis of human placental trophoblast cells, which may be associated with the JAK2-STAT3 pathway and inflammatory responses. Further studies are warranted to clarify the precise molecular mechanisms underlying these associations.

- Analysis of the impact of SARS-CoV-2 infection on immune function and metabolic changes in college students. [Journal Article]Clin Invest Med. 2025 Dec; 48(4):3-9.CI
- CONCLUSIONS: Omicron infection induces immune and metabolic disturbances lasting at least 1 year, with gradual but incomplete recovery by 2 years. The interplay between immune dysregulation and metabolic alterations may contribute to the long-term health effects of COVID-19. Monitoring both lymphocyte and metabolic dynamics may guide the long-term management of post-COVID-19 sequelae.
