Campylobacter infections are very common overall. They typically affect the gastrointestinal tract and are usually caused by consumption of contaminated meat or water. Older people, men, and people with weakened immune systems are significantly more likely to be affected. Endocarditis caused by Campylobacter fetus, especially of the tricuspid valve, is rarely reported and not easy to diagnose.

Pulsed field ablation (PFA) for AF offers relative myocardial selectivity and a potentially improved safety profile. However, data on its use in patients with implanted neurostimulation devices are lacking.

An anomalous right coronary artery (RCA) arising from the left anterior descending artery (LAD) is a very rare coronary variant. When a distal left main (LM)/ostial LAD culprit lesion occurs in this setting, the myocardium at risk is substantial and revascularization decisions are time critical.
