- Patterns of Lymph Node Metastases from Mid and Distal Ureteral Carcinoma. [Journal Article]J Urol. 2026 Jul 14; :101097JU0000000000005216. [Online ahead of print]JU
- CONCLUSIONS: This is the largest mapping series for mid and distal ureteral tumors to date. Retroperitoneal LNMs occurred in over half of mid- and over one-third of distal-UTUC patients, and among patients with retroperitoneal spread, the majority had retroperitoneal LNM without concurrent pelvic LNMs. These findings provide anatomic data to inform putative dissection templates for surgeons and future prospective studies.

- Impact of lower pole stone location on outcomes of paediatric flexible ureteroscopy: results from a large endourology multicentric cohort study. [Journal Article]J Urol. 2026 Jul 14; :101097JU0000000000005215. [Online ahead of print]JU
- CONCLUSIONS: Although LP stones require longer procedures and are associated with lower ultrasound SFR, stone location alone does not independently predict treatment success. Optimised preoperative stenting and meticulous intraoperative technique may mitigate anatomical challenges and improve outcomes in paediatric LP stones.

- Urinary Proteome Enables Non-invasive Differentiation of Ureteropelvic Junction Obstruction from Vesicoureteral Reflux. [Journal Article]J Urol. 2026 Jul 10; :101097JU0000000000005206. [Online ahead of print]JU
- CONCLUSIONS: This study demonstrates differing expression of select urinary proteins between patients with ureteropelvic junction obstruction and vesicoureteral reflux. There is potential for the urinary proteome to be leveraged as a non-invasive method to distinguish between obstructive and nonobstructive causes of congenital urinary dilation.

- Informed Decision Making for Prostate Cancer Screening - A Prospective, Randomized Study of Two Novel Web-based, Electronic Visits. [Journal Article]J Urol. 2026 Jul 08; :101097JU0000000000005205. [Online ahead of print]JU
- CONCLUSIONS: Race and age were associated with completion rates of these E-visits. Among men completing the visit, those completing the Interactive E-visit were more likely to make a decision regarding screening and order a PSA test than those completing the Informational E-visit.
