- Survival Benefit of ARSI Therapy in Japanese mCSPC: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. [Systematic Review]
- CONCLUSIONS: ARSI-based therapy was associated with a modest but consistent improvement in OS in Japanese mCSPC. The attenuated effect size compared with randomized trials may reflect multiple factors, including differences in baseline treatment strategies, subsequent therapies, healthcare systems, and study design. These findings highlight the importance of treatment context when interpreting randomized trial evidence.

- Sequential Enzalutamide-Docetaxel Versus Abiraterone-Docetaxel Therapy in Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer: A Subanalysis of the ENABLE Study. [Randomized Controlled Trial]
- CONCLUSIONS: ENZ-DTX and ABI-DTX sequential therapies demonstrated comparable survival outcomes in patients with CRPC. Notably, the administration of additional ARSIs following ARSI-DTX therapy may confer a survival benefit, suggesting a potential role for continued ARSI use in this treatment sequence.

- Exploring New Treatment Strategies for Endometriosis-Narrative Review. [Review]
- The pharmacological treatment of endometriosis using SPRMs requires improvement. The pure PR-agonist dienogest (DNG), a clinically established progestin, can serve as a reference compound for comparison. Its efficacy and safety have been well characterised in preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies, as well as in qualified pivotal clinical studies for the treatment of endometriosis. The pharmaco…

- Cardiovascular Complications Associated with Uro-Oncology Treatments-A Primer for the Clinician. [Review]
- Cardiovascular complications increasingly challenge survivors of urological cancers, given the cardiotoxicity of therapies such as androgen deprivation, vascular endothelial growth factor receptor inhibitors, tyrosine kinase inhibitors, immune checkpoint inhibitors, and chemotherapy. This narrative review addresses the complex crosstalk between urological cancer treatment and cardiovascular disea…

- Clinical and economic outcomes of cabazitaxel versus Lu-PSMA in mCRPC: a US perspective. [Journal Article]J Med Econ. 2026 Dec; 29(1):2107-2120.JM
- CONCLUSIONS: Cabazitaxel provides a clinically validated and economically favorable treatment option post-docetaxel and ARPI, providing substantial cost savings across payer scenarios with no observed difference in OS. Lu-PSMA offers improved PSA-based outcomes and progression-related endpoints at higher treatment costs. These findings support clinical-economic trade-off considerations when sequencing therapies for mCRPC.

- PD-1 blockade combined with anlotinib and bicalutamide for metastatic primary cutaneous apocrine carcinoma: a case report and literature review. [Case Reports]
- CONCLUSIONS: This case illustrates a feasible combination approach for widely metastatic PCAC using PD-1 blockade, anti-angiogenic therapy, and anti-androgen treatment, with clinical and radiographic improvement and favorable tolerability during follow-up. Prospective data are needed to clarify patient selection and define optimal systemic strategies for advanced PCAC.

- Sexually dimorphic expression and hormonal responsiveness of steroidogenic Cyp genes during gonadal differentiation in mandarin fish. [Journal Article]
- Steroid hormones play a pivotal role in fish sex differentiation, yet the dynamic expression patterns of key steroidogenic enzymes during this process remain incompletely characterized. Here, we combined genome-wide identification, time series transcriptomes spanning gonadal development (5-360 days post-hatch), and multiple hormone treatment experiments (17α-methyltestosterone, estrone, and etono…

- From veterinary antibiotic to cancer therapy: revisiting anticancer potential of Monensin. [Review]
- Monensin, a polyether ionophore widely used in veterinary medicine, has recently emerged as a multimodal anticancer candidate. This review provides a comprehensive overview of preclinical studies showing that monensin exerts selective cytotoxic and anti-progression effects across a wide range of malignancies. Its activity spans breast cancer to leukemia, reflecting both versatility and significan…

- Real-World PSA Response and Overall Survival Among Men with mCSPC Receiving Apalutamide Versus Darolutamide (Both Without Docetaxel) in the US. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Among patients with mCSPC treated without docetaxel, apalutamide was associated with higher PSA90 response rates and lower mortality than darolutamide. These findings indicate a potential difference in disease control and survival between the two androgen receptor-targeted agents in routine clinical practice.

- Innovations in Diagnosis Immunotherapy and Combination Therapy of Prostate Cancer: A Patent-driven Analysis. [Journal Article]Recent Pat Anticancer Drug Discov. 2026 Jul 22. [Online ahead of print]RP
- CONCLUSIONS: The novel immunotherapy approaches utilized for PC comprised immune checkpoint inhibitors (PD-1/PD-L1, CTLA-4 inhibitors), Vaccines, and Adoptive Cell Therapy (CAR-T Cells). Similarly, targeted therapy includes Androgen Receptor Signaling Inhibitors, PARP Inhibitors, PI3K/AKT/mTOR Pathway Inhibitors, Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKIs), and DNA Repair Pathway Targeting Agents, etc. Conclusion: Recent innovations in biomarkers help in the early diagnosis of PC. The advanced stage of PC is well-treated with either single Immunotherapy, targeted therapy, or combinations of both for extending patient survival and hope.
