- Digital Assistive Technology Acceptance and Use by Caregivers of Older Adults With Cognitive Impairment: Qualitative Interview Study. [Journal Article]JMIR Hum Factors. 2026 Jun 19; 13:e80614.JH
- CONCLUSIONS: The findings suggest that traditional TAM constructs may benefit from contextual adaptation. The acceptance of DATs is not merely an individual assessment of usefulness or ease of use but also a relational and socially mediated process shaped by emotional dependence, family attitudes, technology anxiety, and support systems. Technology may therefore need to evolve dynamically across different stages of cognitive decline, while human caregivers remain irreplaceable in providing emotional support, personalized judgment, and crisis management. Effective DAT integration requires coordinated efforts among relevant stakeholders.

- At-Home Telehealth-Supported Subcutaneous Ketamine Therapy in Adults With Moderate to Severe Depression, Anxiety, or PTSD: A Real-World Observational Study of Safety, Feasibility, and Clinical Outcomes in a Large, Heterogeneous Cohort in the United States. [Journal Article]J Med Internet Res. 2026 Jun 17. [Online ahead of print]JM
- CONCLUSIONS: Conclusions: This study is the first large-scale evaluation of at-home SC ketamine. Results suggest at-home SC ketamine is a safe, feasible intervention associated with high rates of symptom reduction in depression, anxiety, and PTSD. It differs from existing literature by utilizing a high-bioavailability (93%) SC route in a remote setting, whereas patients typically receive infusions of this potency in-clinic. Patients achieved clinical outcomes comparable to or exceeding traditional and intranasal therapies, potentially closing the access gap for treatment-resistant populations and supporting the expansion of supervised telehealth models in mental health care.

- CONCLUSIONS: This study shows that preoperative anxiety-management interventions for adults undergoing ophthalmic surgery are diverse in content and have a substantial evidence base. Future research should focus on rigorous study designs and practical implementation. Furthermore, comparative studies of different interventions are needed to identify the most effective and efficient approaches. Finally, future research should integrate critical factors such as intervention duration, surgical phase, and patient age profile to develop precise, low-burden, and highly effective combinatorial strategies for managing preoperative anxiety in adults undergoing ocular surgery.
