- Meniscal Root Repair With Centralization. [Journal Article]Video J Sports Med. 2026 May-Jun; 6(3):26350254261451037.VJ
- CONCLUSIONS: Transtibial meniscal root repair with centralization is a reproducible technique that restores meniscal function, minimizes extrusion, and delays the progression of osteoarthritis. The luggage-tag suture configuration mitigates suture cutout, and careful attention to centralization placement and tensioning optimizes outcomes. Postoperative rehabilitation should emphasize progressive weightbearing and strengthening, with return to sport typically achievable by 6 months. This approach provides durable symptom relief and joint preservation when applied to appropriately selected patients.

- Symptomatic ankle osteoarthritis is associated with a substantial disease burden. Although many patients benefit from nonsurgical management, surgical intervention is commonly indicated for endstage osteoarthritis. In recent years, total ankle arthroplasty (TAA) has gained popularity. Patient A: 90 y/o female, severe comorbidities, idiopathic ankle osteoarthritis, orthopedic shoe adaptation. Pati…
- Skeletal effects of JAK1/2 inhibition versus IL-6 receptor blockade in rheumatoid arthritis: a post hoc comparative cohort analysis based on two prospective observational studies. [Journal Article]Front Pharmacol. 2026; 17:1835307.FP
- CONCLUSIONS: JAK1/2 inhibition with baricitinib and IL-6 receptor blockade with tocilizumab showed comparable 12-month effects on lumbar spine and femoral neck BMD. These findings suggest that preservation of bone health in RA is more closely linked to effective suppression of inflammatory activity than to a detectable advantage of one targeted mechanism over the other.

- Molecular characterization of superficial zone chondrocytes under pro-inflammatory and biomechanical stress conditions. [Journal Article]PLoS One. 2026; 21(6):e0350746.Plos
- Osteoarthritis (OA) is a chronic degenerative joint disease characterized by pathological features such as chondrocyte loss and cartilage matrix degradation. Superficial zone chondrocytes (SFC), located in the outermost layer of articular cartilage and in direct contact with synovial fluid, are the first to respond to mechanical stress and friction. In this study, SFC were isolated and identified…
