  • Nomogram-based prediction of postoperative kinesiophobia in patients with coronary heart disease. [Journal Article]
BMC Cardiovasc Disord. 2026 May 08. [Online ahead of print]Luo LN, Li CFBC
  • CONCLUSIONS: Postoperative kinesiophobia is prevalent among patients with CHD. The developed nomogram exhibited robust internal predictive performance and potential clinical utility. In the absence of external validation, this model should be considered exploratory and hypothesis-generating, serving as a scientific basis to assist healthcare professionals in the early identification of high-risk patients, facilitating targeted interventions to enhance pain management, hope and family support. However, further multicenter studies are required for external validation.
  • Advances in the application of human amniotic membrane for tissue repair. [Review]
    Cell Regen. 2026 May 09; 15(1).Han J, Yang X, … Lei YCR
  • Human amniotic membrane (hAM) is a widely used biomaterial with longstanding utility in ophthalmology and emerging therapeutic promise across orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, and dermatology. Clinically available biological tissue repair materials primarily encompass autologous, allogeneic, and xenogeneic tissues. However, autologous materials are limited by availability, while allogenei…
  • Postoperative raised ICP after minimally invasive surgery for monosutural craniosynostosis. [Systematic Review]
    Childs Nerv Syst. 2026 May 09; 42(1).Martinelli R, Cusumano M, … Massimi LCN
  • CONCLUSIONS: The risk of postoperative raised ICP seems to be relatively low after surgery for monosutural synostosis without a significant difference between MIC and OCVR. Missing standardized methods for postoperative screening, missing information about the reason of reoperation in some studies, and the retrospective analysis methods in most of them are the main limitations of this study.
  • Personalized modeling of stress and blood pressure reactivity using mobile health data. [Journal Article]
Npj Ment Health Res. 2026 May 08. [Online ahead of print]Kargarandehkordi A, Jaiswal A, … Washington PNM
  • Psychological stress is a key driver of short-term blood pressure (BP) elevations and cardiovascular risk, yet its moment-to-moment impact in daily life remains difficult to predict. In this longitudinal observational study, we collected multimodal data from 20 adults with self-reported hypertension, including continuous wearable-derived heart rate and activity, ecological momentary assessment (E…
