- Double-Snare Retrieval and Mapping-Guided Reimplantation of a Dislodged Atrial Leadless Pacemaker. [Case Reports]JACC Case Rep. 2026 Jun 27; :109114. [Online ahead of print]JC
- CONCLUSIONS: Double-snare retrieval improves procedural control during complex retrievals, while mapping-guided implantation may reduce fixation failure in diseased atria.Double-snare retrieval enhances safety in inverted atrial LP dislodgement. - Transcatheter Ethanol Ablation of Recurrent Right Atrial Appendage Diverticulum-Related Atrial Tachycardia in a Child. [Case Reports]Pacing Clin Electrophysiol. 2026 Jun 27. [Online ahead of print]PC
- CONCLUSIONS: This case demonstrates the feasibility and efficacy of bailout transcatheter ethanol ablation for recurrent AT arising from an inaccessible RAA diverticulum-like structure in a pediatric patient with AIC. Intraprocedural angiography was crucial for identifying the anatomical substrate. Ethanol chemical ablation may serve as a safe and effective alternative when conventional catheter ablation fails due to complex anatomy.

- Impact of Phenotype on Recurrence of VT Post-Ablation in Patients With Nonischemic Cardiomyopathy. [Review]Pacing Clin Electrophysiol. 2026 Jun 26. [Online ahead of print]PC
- CONCLUSIONS: VT ablation outcomes in NICM varied by the underlying disease phenotype, with recurrence rates ranging from 82.6% in LMNA cardiomyopathy to 33.8% in ARVC. These hypothesis-generating findings argue against treating NICM as a unified category and provide a foundation for phenotype-specific procedural counseling and clinical trial stratification that warrants validation in prospective registries.

- Caffeine and the Young Heart A Systematic Review of Arrhythmogenic Risks in Children and Adolescents. [Review]Pediatr Cardiol. 2026 Jun 26. [Online ahead of print]PC
- Caffeine consumption among children and adolescents has increased in recent years, largely through energy drinks. While caffeine is generally considerd as safe in low doses, current evidence suggests that high intake may provoke arrhythmias and electrocardiographic abnormalities in younger populations. This systematic review evaluates the arrhythmogenic effects of caffeine consumption in pediatri…

- Percutaneous Retrieval of a Migrated Iliac Vein Stent Traversing the Tricuspid Valve. [Case Reports]JACC Case Rep. 2026 Jun 26; :109004. [Online ahead of print]JC
- CONCLUSIONS: Venous stent migration into the tricuspid valve can be managed safely through a multidisciplinary, collaborative, transesophageal echocardiography-guided percutaneous approach, offering a minimally invasive alternative to surgery.Percutaneous retrieval of migrated venous stents is feasible and safe when performed in a hybrid environment by an experienced interventional, surgical, and imaging team. Early transition to a dual-snare technique with deflectable sheaths should be considered when a single-snare attempt risks injury to the tricuspid apparatus.

- Neonatal Cholestasis Caused by Graves' Disease: A Case Report and Literature Review. [Journal Article]J Clin Res Pediatr Endocrinol. 2026 Jun 26. [Online ahead of print]JC
- This is a case report of neonatal cholestasis caused by Graves' disease, accompanied by a literature review of previously published cases. Neonatal/Infantile cholestasis (NIC) is defined as an impairment in bile formation and/or flow presenting by the first year of age, typically within the first three months. Hyperthyroidism has been less frequently associated with this condition. Here, we repor…

- Ivabradine in Heart Transplant Recipients With Sinus Tachycardia: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis. [Journal Article]J Cardiovasc Pharmacol. 2026 Jun 04. [Online ahead of print]JC
- Sinus tachycardia is common after heart transplantation (HTx) and may worsen graft function via increased oxygen demand and remodeling. Ivabradine, a selective If channel inhibitor, lowers heart rate independently of sympathetic activity. This meta-analysis evaluates its efficacy and safety versus standard care in HTx recipients. A comprehensive search of PubMed, Embase, WoS, Scopus, and Cochrane…

- Thoracic Spinal Epidural Abscess After Spinal Cord Stimulation Trial With Cord Compression but Preserved Neurologic Function: A Rehabilitation Case. [Case Reports]Cureus. 2026 May; 18(5):e109630.C
- Spinal cord stimulation (SCS) is an effective therapeutic option for refractory neuropathic pain, but infectious complications, particularly epidural abscess, are rare and carry high morbidity. Evidence describing the inpatient rehabilitation course following urgent surgical decompression in patients with radiographic cord compression but largely preserved neurologic function remains limited, and…

- Neonatal Bacteremia Caused by Herbaspirillum huttiense in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit: A Case Series. [Journal Article]Cureus. 2026 May; 18(5):e109597.C
- CONCLUSIONS: H. huttiense is an emerging opportunistic pathogen in neonatal infections, often associated with diagnostic challenges due to misidentification. Advanced diagnostic tools such as MALDI-TOF significantly improve detection. Although no standardized treatment guidelines exist, most isolates appear susceptible to broad-spectrum antibiotics, with favorable clinical outcomes under appropriate therapy.

- Uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), also known as malignant mixed Müllerian tumor (MMMT), is a biphasic neoplasm characterized by the presence of carcinomatous (epithelial) and sarcomatous (stromal tissue) elements. It frequently presents at an advanced stage and can mimic primary ovarian carcinoma on clinical and radiological evaluation, particularly when diagnosed after hysterectomy for presumed beni…

- Although Brugada syndrome has traditionally been considered a primary electrical disease, accumulating evidence supports the presence of subtle structural abnormalities, particularly involving the right ventricular outflow tract. Nevertheless, the identification of overt myocardial scar and biventricular arrhythmogenic substrate should prompt consideration of an alternative diagnosis. We report t…
