- CONCLUSIONS: Although pediatric drug poisoning generally has a favorable prognosis, it remains a significant public health issue. These findings highlight the need for targeted preventive strategies, including caregiver education, safe medication storage at home, and increased awareness and training programs for both families and healthcare professionals.

- Cerebral Edema Secondary to Heavy Metal Toxicity From Siddha Medicine: A Case Report and Case-Based Review. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: We presented an unusual case of generalized cerebral edema caused by multiple metal toxicity from Siddha medicine use. Our case illustrates that Siddha medicine can cause a mixed toxidrome with toxicities from multiple metals at once. Our patient's highly unusual presenting syndrome, including diffuse cerebral edema on brain imaging and triphasic waves on electroencephalogram, will hopefully be informative for physicians faced with similar cases in future.

- Overlapping Hepatic and Neurological Toxicity Following Intentional Multidrug Poisoning with Acetaminophen, Metoclopramide, and Metronidazole: A Case Report. [Case Reports]
- CONCLUSIONS: This case highlights the diagnostic and therapeutic challenges of polydrug overdose with overlapping toxidromes. Rapid identification and agent-specific management, including NAC for APAP, symptomatic therapy for metoclopramide and metronidazole toxicity, and supportive care, resulted in full recovery without long-term sequelae. Emergency clinicians should maintain high suspicion for multiple co-ingestants and use targeted interventions to optimize outcomes.

- Delayed-onset status epilepticus without cholinergic features in organophosphate poisoning: a case report. [Case Reports]
- CONCLUSIONS: This case illustrates an uncommon presentation of OP poisoning: delayed-onset status epilepticus in the absence of peripheral cholinergic features. The high lipophilicity of profenofos may facilitate preferential accumulation in the CNS, leading to a predominantly central cholinergic syndrome. This underscores the importance of recognising atypical neurotoxic presentations of OP poisoning and the potential need for CNS-directed therapy even in the absence of classic peripheral signs.
