- Generation of dual mouse models of retinal degeneration with slow and rapid progression driven by ectopic RIP3 expression. [Journal Article]PLoS One. 2026; 21(8):e0356284.Plos
- Dry age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a leading cause of blindness, characterized by progressive loss of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) and subsequent photoreceptor degeneration. Current experimental models, including sodium iodate-induced injury, fail to fully recapitulate the chronic, age-related progression of the human disease. Although RIP3-mediated necroptosis has been strongly im…

- Clinical presentation, investigation findings, and outcomes of hypophysitis in sarcoidosis: a systematic review. [Systematic Review]Pituitary. 2026 Aug 20; 29(5).P
- CONCLUSIONS: Hypophysitis in sarcoidosis should be suspected in patients presenting with stalk thickening, sellar lesions, AVP deficiency, or unexplained hypogonadism. Because serum and CSF biomarkers showed limited sensitivity, systemic investigation and extracranial biopsy are essential. Despite treatment, recurrence and persistent endocrine dysfunction remain common, highlighting the need for long-term multidisciplinary follow-up.

- Unilateral Bi-portal Endoscopic Spinal Surgery for Lumbar Disk Herniation and Canal Stenosis: Technical Nuances and Fellowship-Based Clinical Experience. [Journal Article]
- CONCLUSIONS: Based on our fellowship experience, we believe that UBE is a safe, effective, and minimally invasive surgical option for managing LDH and canal stenosis. It offers significant pain relief, reduced blood loss, faster recovery, and excellent patient satisfaction. Furthermore, this minimally invasive spine technique has a less steep learning curve, and its use of low-cost instruments provides a valuable learning opportunity for spine surgeons who are already performing conventional open surgical approaches.
