Health care in the United States is an extremely complex industry, and little time is dedicated to teaching physicians about the economics and business aspects of medicine during their training. As a result, many physicians lack in-depth understanding of important issues that affect them on a daily basis. However, it is now more important than ever that physicians engage in business-related discussions and decisions regarding their practice.
