  1. I did not receive my serial number. Can you resend it?

    You can request your serial number by entering your email address in the Serial Number Request Form. Any product serial numbers registered with that email address will be sent.

    If after requesting your serial number you still do not receive an email, please be sure to check the following:

    1. Your email program is not filtering the registration email as "Junk Mail".
    2. Be sure you have space available in your email program.
    3. Be sure the distributor from which you purchased the product has completed the sale. Most distributors will send you an email receipt when you purchase a product from their site. If you did not receive this email, contact their support to be sure the sale was processed.
    4. If you are a CogniQ user, login to CogniQ and click on the "Account" link in your Library. Click on "Get Serial Number" from the "Software Setup" menu on the left side of your screen. Your serial number will be sent to the email address you entered during registration.
    5. If you still have not received your serial number, please submit a Support Request. If you would like to purchase a product please visit the Unbound Medicine Store.
  2. Where can I download the latest version?

    Please visit the Download Software page. You will be prompted to enter your Serial Number and email address. If the serial number and email address are valid, you will be given the opportunity to download the software for either the Palm or Pocket PC.

  3. Why am I asked for my serial number every time I HotSync my Palm device?

    To correct this problem:

    Right-click on the HotSync Manager icon in your system tray (bottom right-hand corner of your screen).

    Click on "Custom"

    Select "System" from the "Conduit" list.

    Click on the "Change" button.

    Select " Handheld Overwrites Desktop"

    Click "OK"

    HotSync your Palm and enter your serial number when prompted.

  4. Can I get a CD version of the product?

    All of our products are delivered via electronic download only. If ever you need to re-install and you lose the original install file, you can visit our support website and enter your serial number and e-mail address under the "Download Software" section.

  5. I have recently changed computers, and now my Unbound Medicine product(s) won't sync.

    Unbound Medicine's Auto-Updating products require you to have the product installed on every PC on which you wish to HotSync. If you want to install the product on your new PC, you will need the install file and your serial number. If you need the install file, please visit the Download Software page. If you need your Serial Number, you can request it be sent to you using the Serial Number Request Form.

  6. My install file was corrupted. How can I get another copy?

    Please visit the Download Software page. You will be prompted to enter your Serial Number. If the serial number is valid, you will be given the opportunity to download the software for either the Palm or Pocket PC.

  7. Can I install Unbound Medicine products on a memory card?

    Yes. Our Palm products can be installed on Secure Digital (SD) cards or Memory Sticks. If you are installing for the first time, please follow these instructions:

    If the application is already installed on your PDA, please follow the instructions below.

    1. Remove the application from your device. Instructions on deleting the application from your device can be found below.
    2. Choose "Secure Digital (SD) card or Memory Stick" and follow the remaining on-screen instructions.
    3. Download the newest version of the application.
    4. Run the installer, follow the "Installing for the First Time" instructions above, and enter the serial number provided at product purchase.

  8. Do your applications work with Palm OS 5?

    Yes. Palm OS 5 is one of our supported operating systems. Complete system requirements can be found in the User Guide.

  9. On which PDA Operating Systems will your products run?

    At this time, our products will run on Palm OS 3.5 or later. Complete system requirements can be found in the User Guide.

  10. When I open a record, I see the message, "The Record is missing. Your handheld may be out of memory or the HotSync didn't complete."

    There are two reasons why you may see this message. The first is that your handheld device may have run out of memory during syncing. The second is that your internet connection may have terminated before the sync was complete.

    To check the amount of available memory:

    If you have less than 20K available, our software will stop loading content to your Palm. Please create additional free space by deleting files that you no longer use and sync again.

    If you do have enough space on your Palm device, please connect your PC to the Internet and HotSync again.

  11. How do I uninstall the program?

    To scroll the tables on the palm tap and hold the stylus, drag left and right to move horizontally, drag up and down to move vertically.
